OluKai, the island-inspired premium footwear brand, announced today the release of their Fall/Winter 2022 premium slipper collection, just in time for colder weather and holiday travel. The new collection boasts a wide range of high-quality styles, including leather, shearling, moccasin, fleece, and breathable cotton slippers — all designed with premium materials such as shearling lining, durable rubber outsoles, and full-grain leather to deliver maximum comfort and functionality.

Following 2020, the footwear industry experienced heightened demand for slippers and house shoes as consumers began to prioritize comfort. As consumer habits evolved in the last two years, OluKai set out to innovate a new, more durable model not yet available in the market, made to withstand prolonged outdoor wear. OluKai’s trailblazing technology includes a removable and washable anatomical footbed, as well as a biomechanically engineered shape, designed to support your entire foot naturally while allowing for increased comfortability and all-day wear. Many of the slippers are also designed with OluKai’s patented Drop-In Heel® to offer both shoe and slide functionality, plus a compression-molded EVA and non-marking ‘Wet Grip Rubber’ outsole, so you can wear your slippers anywhere — from the supermarket to the airport.

“OluKai’s latest slipper collection features state-of-the-art materials and innovative technology, but offers the same function and performance that our OluKai community knows and trusts,” said Jordan Morrell, Senior Vice President of Product at OluKai. “Our premium slippers offer so much more than typical house shoes, and you can trust that our modern design will carry you through any occasion while remaining comfortable, durable, and most of all, cozy.”

Featured in the new collection are two of OluKai’s brand-new slipper models: the men’s Mua ‘Ili, a slide slipper made with buttery soft leather exterior that moves with each step while shearling gently hugs the foot with warmth; and the women’s Pūpū Mua, a slipper fully wrapped in genuine shearling and accented with premium, full-grain leather for pure softness and comfort.

OluKai believes everyone, no matter where they are, can live Aloha – a mission that comes to life through the thoughtful design elements and handcrafted details of their ocean-inspired products. As the first true pioneers of the luxury sandal category, the launch of OluKai’s slipper collection further exemplifies the brand’s commitment to consistently innovating new, high-quality footwear categories that consumers can rely on throughout every season.

Consumers can shop the Fall/Winter 2022 collection now at www.OluKai.com. Every slipper sold, like the rest of OluKai’s shoes, supports the Ama OluKai Foundation — a 501(c)(3) created to preserve land and ocean, serve island communities, and maintain Hawaiian culture and traditions.

OluKai’s premium, thoughtful footwear features design elements and handcrafted details inspired by the ocean. Founded in 2005 and inspired by the islands of Hawai’i, OluKai has expanded the brand beyond its signature leather sandals, to stylish, comfortable, and versatile everyday shoes, boots, and slippers. OluKai shares its spirit of Aloha through the Ama OluKai Foundation, a 501(c)(3) created to support organizations that preserve Hawaiian culture. OluKai is one of less than 5,000 brands worldwide to be Certified B-Corporation, helping to minimize waste in production, manufacturing, and distribution. Aligning with its mission to build quality products that last longer and strengthen communities. Find OluKai at one of their four storefronts on the islands of Hawai’i and online at www.OluKai.com.
